I feel like New Year’s Resolutions get a bad rap, and I’m not really sure why! The goal is to make yourself better, year after year and it’s something we should always be striving for in my opinion — both personally and professionally!
This year I have both types of goals but one that I think will achieve a few of my personal goals with one easy change is riding the Peloton each morning to get my workout in. Towards the end of this year I found myself in an awful sleep/wake routine and I’m not even sure where it came from! I stay up until 2 am, take melatonin to fall asleep and then wake up groggy with the babes and struggle to drink more coffee than I’d care to admit to.
I want to be present for my babes. I want to greet them with a smile when they wake instead of sleepwalking to their cribs! And at the same time, I think it’s really important that we have a moment for ourselves.

My goal is to: wake up each morning, have a quiet cup of coffee, ride the bike with some friends and just be able to start my day both reflective & happy.
The Peloton is an expensive luxury. I totally get that. But at the same time, its a pricy commitment to yourself and I’m here to tell you that YOU. ARE. WORTH. IT! This bike and it’s community has already inspired me to make changes and I’m so excited to see the changes made in 2021!
I’m going to add one last piece of advice: TAKE PICTURES and MEASUREMENTS. The scale can be such a let-down, but you will SEE and FEEL progress before the scale reflects it!
All this to say, I’ve made some wonderful friends over the past few months in the blogging community and two of them just so happen to have bikes: Christine and Lauren. It was Christine’s idea to wake up early (before her full time job) and get the bike done. Y’all, I am not a morning person, so I was hesitant but I knew this would be the accountability I needed to commit to my goals.
If you decide you want to ride with us, we’ll be riding under the Peloton Leaderboard Hashtag: #MorningMoms
Can’t wait to wake up with you!
What are your goals for the year?
